Just started to use my new recorder and and trying out the various recording speeds to see if there is any noticable differences, well the answer to that is not immediatly obvious. It must be said though that at least this product does try to be hi-fi unlike a computer copier which is not . It does take an eternity to scan your discs ,when compared to a modern cd player and I will not be using it as a player,but as a way of storing some of my treasured vinyl this is the kiddy . one very good feature is the one touch record button ,which even lights up when ready.Watch out for disc prices as these seem to vary wildly ,and make sure that you buy audio quality discs,not computer blanks.A big manual does look daunting at first but after a while you wish that ther was more info on speeds.
